Alabama State Senator being harsh on legislature on gambling

Alabama State Senator Hank Erwin Jnr. is planning to eliminate gambling in the southern state and to get rid of the state governing body’s right to give permission to any gambling activity.
Erwin’s Senate Bill 470 is now in progress to the Tourism and Marketing Sub-committee for discussion, where no less than one of its conditions are going to be a focus for many conflict.
“The governing body shall have no power to give permission to any gambling activity, such as, but not limited to, lotteries, or gift enterprises, or any other games of chance, including, but not limited to, pari-mutuel wagering for any purposes and such activity shall be illegitimate.” And the senator is also looking ahead in trying to eliminate any gambling law authorizations by adding a stipulation insists on a statewide vote for any upcoming legitimate modifications concerned with the authorization any form of gambling.
