The two chiefs of an illegitimate gambling ring managing from the high-stakes poker room at the Borgata casino in Atlantic City have been sentenced with an imprisonment. Jack Buscemi Jr., 51, and Andrew Micali, 33, were both sentenced to max of five years imprisonment, following pleading guilty last year to scheme to carry out money laundering and loan sharking correspondingly. 6 other co-defendants were sentenced to probation for taking part in the gambling venture.
The illegitimate gambling ring managed from the high-stakes poker room at the AC casino, were the defendants would approach casino clients with sports betting offers. As said by the case documents, the illegitimate gambling ring took more than $60 million in bets for the 20 months they were under examination, which earned more than $2 million in revenue for the 2 chiefs alone.
