Pikum shutting down
February 11, 2009, 8:41 am (2 years ago)It seems that Pikum, an online social gambling establishment which had GBP 3.98 million in investment from Virgin USA and First Round Capital has shut down its virtual accesses, because of their financial difficulty.
Pikum was a first of its kind of betting game produced and played between friends online, the invention of a 28-year old South African born industrialist from America, Sean Glass. He previously co-founded higher education-focused online financial services company Higher One. By managing the social networking wave, Glass wished to increase a benefit through major online gambling companies whom he saw as possibility of rivals including Party Gaming, 888, Betafir and Tradesports reports Tech Crunch this week.
