O'Malia leaving Party Gaming

Internet gambling group, Party Gaming has revealed shocking news at the beginning of the week. Everybody involved in online gambling industry was surprised to find out about the imminent departure of managing director John O'Malia so as to pursue other business interests.
O'Malia told the board of directors that he has come to a conclusion of resignation of his position at Party Gaming at the end of February 2009. The group's chief executive, Jim Ryan will be taking over his position. . When InfoPowa went to press there was no sign of O'Malia's future plans.

John O’Malia used to be a chief executive of Gamebookers, until it was obtained by Party Gaming in August 2006. Having agreed to stay with the group after the incorporation of Gamebookers, he became a member of the senior management team and was assigned to the board of Party Gaming in May 2008.
