As said by Financial Times and TheTimesOnline, Anurag Dikshit, one of the 4 originators, and a 27 % investor in the Gibraltar-based Internet gambling giant Party Gaming.com, is alleged to have agreed to plead guilty to a charge regarding to taking wagers from US citizens throughout the Internet pre-2006. It seems like Dikshit has consented to pay a US$ 196 million as a fine, and to assist in the US Department of Justice's ongoing investigation of online gambling in the United States.
Nobody knows if Dikshit acts independently or as with Party Gaming negotiations with the DoJ which have been continuing for quite a long time in efforts to drop the matters from the company's US activities previous to the channel of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act in 2006.
