According to federal prosecutors in Manhattan, there were 6 arrests on Monday in the Bronx regarding online sportsbetting offences. The New York Daily News explained that prosecutors related the arrests with organized felony, with one of those arrested, Anthony Croce, said to be an acting capo in the Luchese crime family.
Investigators unveiled the crime organization by recording in secret the cell phone conversations of members collecting in thousands of dollars in bets for football and other sporting events, federal officials reported.

Members assisted users by offering them access codes to an anonymous abroad gambling operation throughout the Internet, as said by the FBI in Manhattan Federal Court.
