Japanese police are not satisfied with or needing help from online games developer Famista, which produced a very original slot machine that has the features of renegades from Japanese justice.
Branded Slot Detective, the appearance of the game is similar to a classic slot machine game but it shows the faces of most wanted criminals rather than lovely fruits. Famista explains that it hopes the game, which is free online, is going to be any help capturing any of those renegades.

"There are a lot of internet websites that show pictures of faces of the wanted criminals, but they aren’t inevitably visited often," a company spokesman noted. "By combining it with amusement, we believed we are able to make some contribution to the police efforts."

Famista also stated that 100,000 people came to the website only few hours after its startup. However, the police are not so pleased about it. The National Police Agency explained that the game unsuitably utilizes police belongings for amusement and could distress victims. The facial portraits of the suspects are supposed to be utilized in a more publicly suitable manner.
