Interesting comments from anti-online gambling on UIGEA

It seems that there is nothing much the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act really can do to consult on the problem of addictive gambling, according to the comments this week by the Executive Director of the National Council on Problem Gaming, Keith Whyte.
Whyte explained to Poker News Daily that the UIGEA and its sustaining rules are a politically planned policy, made to cut off funds for gamblers. But these rules do not succeed in addressing the prime causes of problem gambling or to deal out any of the millions spent on the law's implementation and execution to the commendable cause of accountable gambling research, education and treatment.

While most of the anti-online gambling trying to highlight the supposed probability of risks of the activity, Whyte's comment is very interesting.

Describing the UIGEA, Whyte explained that it was similar to cut off money for those who drink - the arguable legislation does not consult on the prime cause, and none of the funding deal out to put the regulations into effect is arranged for problem gambling.
