Gary Kaplan's transfer to another imprisonment
November 13, 2008, 8:55 am (3 years ago)According to the St. Louis Despatch newspaper, it appears to be that Gary Kaplan, the creator of liquidated online gambling group BetonSports has been in prison for the last eighteen months on a many of accusations regarding to his gambling dealing activities, and is obviously preparing a legit-defense.
Kaplan and the previous CEO of the betting group, David Carruthers, still do not have their day in court after US Department of Justice examinations that caused their imprisonments.
As said by the newspaper, in Kaplan's case, there has been a further furor on whether he got particular and covert treatment in the way of banned articles sneaked into him in the St. Louis County jail. That caused his transfer to an additional imprisonment facility in St. Charles County, but disagreement has followed him there too.
What seems to be the trouble is that the St.Charles County jail has only 2 interview rooms where detainees can see their authorized representatives. Kaplan and his lawyers are controlling them with long on daily basis consultations.
