San Diego based company Neurok Optics...
December 13, 2007, 10:55 am (4 years ago)San Diego based company Neurok Optics has announced that they will launch the first ever 3D wide screen monitor. The monitor will measure 22 inches and use stereoscopic 3D technology that they have combined with polarized eyeglasses to permit online players to see games in three dimensional clarity and color. The new 3D monitor is expected to retail for somewhere around $1,000.
The monitor can also be used as a traditional monitor in 2D by using a special button that will provide commercial grade levels of quality images. Chief Executive Officer for Neurok Optics, Thomas Striegler stated recently that “All popular games and many new movies are now created in 3D but most viewers are unable to see the game or movie as it is meant to be seen in 3D. Now you can add a new dimension to your home video entertainment with our 3D monitor.”
The new 3D model will include a choice of polarized glasses that are lightweight. Neurok Optics has assured that the glasses will not be plagued by the past drawbacks of 3D glasses like strain on eyesight, spatial disorientation, or headaches. Also included in the new monitor will be the first ever S-3D driver that is anticipated to be compatible with the Nvidia Geforce 8 Series, as well as the ATI FireGL V3600 workstation graphics accelerator.
Online gamblers will be ready to hit the slots with the release of the new 3D monitor, that’s geared towards better online game play with the high resolution graphics, making them feel as if they’re inside the actual casino.
