Pensioner becomes online bingo’s first millionaire

Life begins at 62 for English pensioner Pauline Clark who scooped a cool 1 million British pounds to become the world’s first online bingo millionaire.

The Bristol mother-of-two scored a full house in Gala Bingo’s online KerChingo game even though she has been playing bingo online for just two months.

The “shocked” pensioner was immediately plunged into the high life as Gala arranged a chauffeur driven limo to collect her and her friends and take them for a champagne breakfast at a luxurious hotel.

Generous Pauline says she is going to help her kids pay off their mortgages with the winnings.

After years playing in Bingo halls, Pauline decided to return to the hobby online recently. Two weeks ago she paid five pounds into her account two weeks ago and had only 60p left when she entered the KerChingo jackpot draw. In a tense finale she went head to head with a bingo rival to scoop the massive prize.

Pauline, who won 5,000 pounds in a game a number of years ago, said she always thought she would win big saying a clairvoyant told her that she would never be stuck for cash.

Gala coral e-commerce managing director Damien Cope said Gala Bingo was delighted to create the world’s first ever bingo millionaire.

To take part Pauline and the other 14,999 finalists had to win a KerChingo final ticket by playing KerChingo qualifying games online and on Gala TV. The final was streamed online and broadcast live on Gala TV.
