Taucher the congresswoman is a member of the Aviation sub-committee, the powerful Highways, Transit and Pipelines subcommittee and Chairman of the Strategic Forces Subcommittee.
In addition, she is only the third woman to lead an Armed Services Subcommittee and a member of the Water Resources and Environment subcommittee.
